Dust Particles

Tara's favorite time of day is when the sun comes through the window and shines on the dust. She loves to chomp on the dust particles.

The Fence

So we are putting up a fence in the back yard. That's to our fellow Saint's Fan Mr. Scott! He is putting up the fence. Mom and Aunt Rhonda are drilling and screwing boards in.

1st Camping Trip with the Venture Crew

I went back packing!!!! So I visited daddy and went shopping in his camping closet. Of course once i found out how much it cost i wanted to put it all back. I borrowed a two man tent which I didn't end up using because I shared with another adult named Kathy. i used a whole bunch of waterproof bags to put everything in and a very nice down sleeping bag, and a mat. We hiked 18miles the first day and about 5miles the next.

We ran into a couple spiders.

The person leading was called Spiderman because they were in charge of clearing all the webs. I kept my arms up while i was in front because you don't always see them before you walk into them.

It was beautiful out there

This was the area that the kids said was the perfect terrain for raptors.

Karen O'Toole is being adventurous. The others choose to just walk around the tree...

In the front is Kathy and behind her is son Joey.

This was a sign we read half way into the hike to the camp as we hiked with a group of 8. We took a picture with our hands out looking like the stick people but I didn't get it with my camera. :(

This was a gate we had to go through it made us feel like cattle.

I was pretending to make a huge bonfire. We made a fire but it wasn't that big. Peter Addey is really good at gathering firewood. He came back from gathering fire wood with what looked like a small tree and looked at my awe strucken face and said : "I don't believe in multiple trips for fire wood."

We had a great view from our campsite of a pond.

Joey brought mini pies that he heated up with his pocket rocket stove. How cute!

And last but not least, because I'm a Mabile and we love our card games. I taught them all palace and we played till the sun went down. Kiersten enjoyed it. Can you tell?

Tara is always playing with little things like bugs, bottle tops and what not. She loves throwing her little things up in the air and them pouncing on them when they fall to the floor. She loves leaving them on the floor and then rolling over it and wiggling over it. Here she is playing with my hair tie. I'll admit there is one part that she plays tug-of-war with me and the hair tie pops in her face a couple times before I started to feel bad and stopped. She never seemed to care that i was popping her in the face.

And this is what happens when you have a dog instead of a kid. . . DOG VIDEOS !!!! HA HA HA ;)

Klaus

The Kehn's came to town because of a Baylor game. We had fun entertaining Jessica and the boys while Eric went to the game with his dad. Klaus was tired and a little moody. Let's just say I'm a terrible aunt and i'll let the video explain the rest.
